Jinan Power Equipment Co., Ltd (Abbreviated as JPEC) is located in Jinan High-Tech Zone, which is one national owned major company focusing on research, development, manufacturing, sale of air cooled turbo-generator.
Products consist of QF series and WX series under ALSTOM (former ABB) license, maximum output capacity of single unit is 350MW, the company possesses one national level technology research and development centre.
Since its establishment in 1958，more than 5000 units of air cooled turbo-generators have been sold to domestic and foreign markets，among of which 3MW unit was awarded with the national silver medal, 1.5MW and 6MW units were awarded as High Quality Products issued by the Ministry of Machine Industry. WX18Z-054 (047) 60MW unit was awarded Second Prize for the National Science and Technology Innovation Prize, WX21Z-073LLT 135MW and WX23Z-109LL 220MW were awarded National Important New Product by four ministries, “Qi Lu” brand turbo-generators consecutively won the title of Famous Brand of Shandong for 14 years. The company is listed in top 500 companies in China Mechanical Industry 500 Top, the Customs A class company and national level company technology centre.
For product replacement and the use of high technology to transform traditional industries, make economic and technical index of the production of air-cooled turbo generator to reach the world advanced level, JPEC has imported technologies for designing and manufacturing air-cooled turbo generator into China from ALSTOM (former ABB) in form of technical know-how license. The first corporation phase ranges from 1989 to 2000, covering unit of 6MW-100MW, the second corporation phase ranges from 1998 to 2010, covering unit of 100MW-200MW, the third phase corporation ranges from 2008 to 2018, covering unit of 200MW-300MW, JPEC produces capacity of 300MW class air-cooled turbo generator in cooperation with ALSTOM.
At present, our factory has formed an annual output of the turbine generator the 1000MW 's production capacity , machining and assembly test conditions can meet the manufacturing requirements of the unit capacity of 350MW turbine generator, as air-cooled generator with a clear competitive advantage in the domestic industry, at the same time has the ability to participate in the competition to enter the international market.
